Funk the War 2: Electric Boogaloo!

Funk the War 2 brought the funk to K Street, War Profiteer's Row. Somewhere near a hundred of us came to shake what our momma's gave us at the pigs who profit off of this imperialist war. We funked up the Military Recruitment office and Lockheed Martin. We danced in front of Bechtel, the Washington Post, and the District of Colombia Republican Party HQ. This was an Iraq Moratorium action hosted by the DC Chapter of the Students for a Democratic Society. Get ready: Funk the War 3: A New Hope is gonna be huge!

Right wing blowhards whipped themselves into an absurd fury about this action, as well. The intartubes were flurried with posts about Funk the War 2:
- Michelle Malkin urged her war-hawk followers to protest the site where the protest happened, in support of the recruiters. A whopping 6 or 7 people showed up more than a week later to what passersby said looked like another anti-war vigil. oops!
- Rick Donaldson called our dance party a violent terrorist attack, while posing for his avatar picture sporting a cop 'stache and a huge gun, and finishing off the post signing "A human being should be able to [...] plan an invasion[...]"
- Some from Human Events' mind is "boggled" about our funkfest (or as she strains to call it "an incident domestic terrorism").
